I had the privilege to visit and share the gift of yoga with this amazing orphanage, Hogares Santa Maria de Guadalupe Orphanage, in Guatemala in January 2020.
Due to new government regulations, all orphanages in Guatemala have been disbanded :( Children were sent back to any families that they could locate, but the sisters are still caring for these children by paying for their education and bringing their families food and supplies. Please pray for these children and their families that they may be given what they need to take good care of these beautiful children.
The head nun of the orphanage, Sister Flory, found a way to still serve the community, children and families despite these new changes by starting The Center for Alternative Programs. Please consider continuing to help and support this organization as they now try to help girls get the education they need in higher education and bringing more resources to the town of Santa Apolonia to help them thrive.

Join me as I continue my international mission work in 2025! My hope is to visit Guatemala again and work with the SSSF natural medicine clinic, as well as trying to bring more resources to The Center for Alternative Programs. I also hope to help Ukrainian refugee children in Poland.
